Live Forever

Mañana se cumple un año de haber visto a Oasis en vivo. El mejor concierto de toda mi vida junto a Pirri y J.L.

Uno de los "tunes" que siempre prenden a la raza es "Live Forever"; todo mundo tiene una interpretación de lo que pensaba el maestrazo Noel al momento de escribirla. Yo creo que nadie imaginábamos una respuesta como ésta:

It was written in the middle of grunge, and Nirvana´s "I hate Myself and I want to die" and I was like, I´m not having that. As much as I fuckin´ like him and all that, I´m not having that. We can´t have people coming overe here on smack, fuckin´ saying they hate themselves and want to die, that´s fuckin´ rubish.

I´m not saying it was written directly as a retort, but that was my thinking, like fuck man, Kids don´t need to hear that nonsense. Seemed to me like, that was a guy who had everything and was miserable....We had fuck all and I still thought getting up in the morning was the fuckin´ great thing ever, ´cause you didn´t know where you´d end up. We didn´t have a pot to piss in but it was great.
